A comprehensive scoping engagement gets us acquainted with your product, your strategy, your requirements, what exists already and what needs to be developed. This effort allows us to accurately scope the project needs and quote the work.

You get a written plan: the path we recommend with estimated timeline, the risks we found, and a fixed quote for identified phases of work.

The document is yours either way. You can hire us with it, or take it to another shop. It will save everyone time.

A board, designed and delivered: schematics, layout, a buildable BOM, fab files, test firmware, and bring-up of the first articles. We offer this as a specific fixed bid service because it is a bounded task that we have deep experience in. One of the most common frustrations we see in clients is a board underquoted, with time and materials pricing slowly creeping up through development and bring-up. A fixed bid protects everyone involved and leans on our experience to mitigate risk on all sides.

The client is responsible for material costs. Board design includes a respin guarantee. If a board we designed needs a revision to meet the spec we agreed on, we pay for the respin.

For work that isn't a single board: more open research and development, application firmware, production support / tooling, or whole products start to finish.

Each week ends with a report of what changed: working hardware, running code, a diagnosis, or a decision. We do not split our attention between weekly engagements. You get the full attention of engineers on your project.
